YEBO Report on Internationalization of PhD Studies

In the preliminary phase of the project, YEBO conducted an investigation and analysis of the biggest needs, strengths, weaknesses and challenges faced by its partners Universities when it comes to internationalization.

The analysis has been conducted based on the results of a questionnaire answered by YEBO partner universities and according to the FRINDOC methodology (Framework for the Internationalization of Doctoral Education).

This piece of work enabled YEBO to draft a report mapping the state of internationalization of PhD studies in South Africa. The conclusions of this report are based on a sample of universities, but still considered relevant and quite representative of the overall situation of internationalization of higher education institutions in the country.
